Relics.From.the.Gods

Dear Fashion Readers,

I am back! This time, it is Athens - the beautiful city, relics from the ancient forgotten Gods of Olympus. Well, technically not forgotten, as millions of travellers visit the life bustling metropolitan for these very Gods, or at least for what their worshippers have left for the Athenians.

And since I am just too lazy to write, please enjoy this editorial piece! I promise you there will be more new articles coming up soon!

Cheers!

Welcome to Athens

White shirt, grey tie and a black jacket are the autumn fashion of 2014. Note: The brown slim fitting pants are good combination to his brown hair.

Black is still in fashion throughout the year of 2014, and so are leather jackets.

Winter.Springfield

Hello my fellow readers,

Winter has finally passed and spring is in the air! Or is it...? While winter menswear is a little dated in this situation, the season can also be a little too chilly for spring menswear.

The transitional season is a tricky one. There should be a balance between looking updated (fashion forward) and staying practical (wearing comfort) in looks.

In this article, I will be discussing some looks that are suitable for the season of 2014.

1. Trending: Black, White, Blue, Red and Basics
\\Big labels in the fashion industry are bringing the basic colours back into trend. The colours, except red colour, are bringing out the masculinity, coolness and chicness of men. When it comes to basics, matching these colours in either pairs or threesome will be a good idea.

2. Jackets are still Necessary Accessories.
\\We will still need jackets due to the weather. However, the traits of jackets for this period become thinner and appear more sheen. My favourite ones for the year 2014 are full length jackets, bomber jackets and black faux leather outerwear.

3. Formal Casual
\\I really love the formal-casual looks this year. The point of this menswear is to match formal top with casual bottoms. Straight fitting jeans, cropped pants or loose-fitting shorts are good options. Top it off with a shirt and tie or tees with a blazer. Vests are not in season.

Faux Leather Jacket from Pull & Bear, Cotton Tie from Topman, Dress shirt from Celio, Cropped Pants from Uniqlo, Bluchers from H&M
4. Oxford Shoes
\\The look can only complete with a pair of polished shine Oxford or Blutchers. Socks are NOT required in this look, albeit many may protest about how disrespectful it is to don a formal without socks in the past. The great Heidi Klum once said, "In fashion, one day you're in; and the next day, you're out," socks are out for the season.

I hope my five cents on what guys should wear during this transition period will help you look more updated, chic and amazing.

A trip to Milan, city of Fashion, was all I need in this awry March. The weather was chilly, so it was perfect to put my winter wear into good use!

First and foremost, I would like to thank my readers for supporting my blog. I know it has been a long while since my last post. Now, with me travelling more often, I hope to post more editorials in the near future.

Note: None of the photos have been edited, only brightened as the lighting wasn’t good in Milan.

Cheers!
